Join Global Bites, Rockville’s city-wide celebration of food, culture, and community from June 1-14, 2025! Dine at any of the Rockville restaurants (must be in city limits; excludes national chains) listed below and after indulging, upload an image of your receipt to the Global Bites submission form to be entered for a chance to win one of three VISA gift cards ($50, $100, $200) to fund your next restaurant outing!

Even better, 20% of your receipt (up to $20 per receipt) goes towards supporting local nonprofit organizations in the Rockville Rewards program.

This is your chance to enjoy the incredible culinary diversity of Rockville while giving back to the community – and maybe even a little something for yourself!

How it Works

1. Dine at any of the listed Rockville restaurants (must be in city limits; excludes national chains) between June 1 and June 14, 2025, and keep your receipt.
2. Upload an image of your receipt to https://bit.ly/globalbites by 11:59 pm EST, June 15, 2025 to be entered to win one of three VISA gift cards ($50, $100, or $200)
3. We’ll donate 20% of your receipt value (up to $20 per receipt) to Rockville Rewards nonprofits.
4. Eat and Repeat!

Explore Rockville: Global Bites 2025 Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Explore Rockville: Global Bites 2025 promotion hosted by Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI), participants agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibilty
   • Participants must be 18 years or older and legal residents of the United States.
   • Employees, board members, and immediate family members of REDI or affiliated partner organizations are not eligible to win prizes but may still participate in the donation portion.
     
2. How to Participate
   • Dine at any Rockville restaurants (must be in city limits; excludes national chains) listed on the Global Bites campaign page between June 1-14, 2025. Restaurants must be within city limits:
   • Upload a clear photo of your itemized receipt via the official submission form on the Explore Rockville website.
   • Only receipts from restaurants listed on the Global Bites campaign page dated between June 1 and 14, 2025, will be eligible.
   • Each valid receipt counts as one entry. Multiple entries are allowed, but each receipt must represent a separate entry transaction.
     
3. Receipt Submission Guidelines
   • Receipts must include: restaurant name, restaurant address, date of purchase, and total amount.
   • Handwritten receipts or those missing required details will be disqualified.
   • Please block out or cover any credit card information or personal identifiers before uploading your receipt. REDI is responsible for redacting sensitive information from submissions.
   • Submissions must be received by 11:59 pm on June 15, 2025.
     
4. Prize Drawings
   • Winners will be randomly selected to receive one of three prizes: one (1) $50 VISA gift card, one (1) $100 VISA gift card, or one (1) $200 VISA gift card.
   • Winners will be notified via email by June 23, 2025.
   • If a winner does not respond within five business days, an alternate winner may be selected.
   • Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
   • Recipients of gift cards are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.
     
5. Nonprofit Donations
   • For every valid receipt submitted, 20% of the total value (up to $20 per receipt) will be donated to participating nonprofit organizations in the Rockville Rewards program
   • A maximum total of $10,000 will be donated through the Global Bites campaign
   • If the total amount of donations calculated from all receipts will be reduced so that the total stays within the $10,000 limit.
     
6. Use of Submitted Materials
   • By submitting a receipt, participants agree to allow REDI and its affiliates to use anonymized data for promotional and reporting purposes.
   • Personal information will not be shared or sold and will only be used to contact winners or for internal campaign evaluation.
     
7. General Conditions
   • REDI reserves the right to cancel or modify the campaign at any time.
   • Fraudulent submissions or abuse of the campaign will result in disqualification,
   • By entering, participants release and hold REDI and its affiliates from any liability related to participation or receipt of any prize.
